Ebay - the huge market

There are many ways to earn money from the internet. One method is by setting up a direct sale page, selling some products.

The other way is to have a membership website that has a lot of content and information. This will attract many subscribers and in turn lure advertisers’ attention to the website. You will earn subscription and advertisement fees.

There are also people earning substantial income by filling up surveys and joining online network marketing companies.

I am sure you heard about ebay, that is a popular website where many people try to find riches and wealth.

Ebay is an online marketplace, or you can called it an auction platform, where people trade and source for affordable, quality goods.

In addition, another 1.5 million people say they supplement their income by selling on eBay.

With over 1/3 of Internet users visiting eBay, that leave growth open to the remaining 2/3. And with more and more people coming online, eBay sales will only continue to expand.

There were $28 Billion in transactional dollars spent on eBay in 2004.

There are 79 million searches and 7.7 million bids placed every day.

Sellers on eBay gross 50 million dollars combined every single day.

2 video game consoles sell every minute and 14 dvd’s sell every minute.

Ebay is the leading e-commerce site on the Web in 12 countries and is the top online-auction destination in 16 nations.

Since it’s beginning in 1995, eBay has hosted over 3.1 billion auctions.
