Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill
I came to know about this book, Think and Grow Rich a few years back, when I was doing offline network marketing. But I did not really bother to read the book, even though, it was highly recommended.
Down the years, when I was working, I totally forgot about Think and Grow Rich. It only resurfaced into my mind when I stumbled on an internet marketing preview seminar. I went home and dug through my whole cupboard to find that 1960 edition of ThinkandGrowRich. It is a white background cover with the solid green wordings, below the wordings is the author name in red.
This book is a classic work of Napoleon Hill. A compilation of researches, which span over 20 years of hard work, and interviewing hundreds of known and famous great men. It was not an easy feat by Napoleon. Had it not for his faith and persistent, there would not have been this marvelous book.
I felt that this book not only talk about getting rich and successful but it is also a good material for character development. Napoleon talked about achieving goals with a burning desire, need for persistence, having faith, taking responsibility, having a creative imagination and harnessing the infinite intelligent
Then he mentioned using techniques, such as autosuggestion to instill a right thinking, forming a mastermind group, taking actions through organized planning and so on.
Inside the book, you can also find 11 major attributes of leadership, 6 practical steps towards riches, 31 major causes of failure, 6 basic fears and there are more.
I find that the real secret of this book lies in chapter 2 where Napoleon listed out the 6 steps in helping you to achieve whatever goals, be it wealth, health or happiness.
