5 Tips to Giving a Good Teleseminar
Teleseminars can be used in many ways to promote your business. By explaining your product on a teleseminar, you will make more sales and engage your audience’s attention.
Before giving your first teleseminar, here are 5 important things to remember.
• Let your audience know the details of how they can join you on your teleseminar. Email them more than once so that you have the best chance of getting more people on your call. Be sure to send out an email the day of the call because many people will simply forget to join you at the correct time.
• It is preferable not to use mobile phone to hold a teleseminar. If you absolutely must use a mobile phone, make sure that you are in a quiet place and that your phone is fully charged. You may also want to have another mobile phone handy in case something happens to your main mobile phone.
• Give your audience some homework to do after the call is completed. You can call it “Action Steps” and direct them to do something specific once the call is finished. This will keep you and your call at the top of their mind once the teleseminar is completed.
• Be sure to allow time at the end of the call for questions and answers. It can be frustrating to your audience if they have a question and cannot get an answer to it right away.
• Prepare a study guide for listeners to use to follow along as you speak. Ask them to print out the study guide in order to take notes. This will give your call a higher perceived value. Make sure that your contact information is on every page of the study guide. This can be done by adding a footer and including your name and website URL.
By holding teleseminars to explain your product, you will gain rapport with your audience and build strong, lasting relationships.
